His Ways

The focus is on ten specific “ways” of God. These “ways” are taught and demonstrated repeatedly throughout Scripture. As we explore them, we will find instructions for living and a deeper understanding of the One who is The Way. Life skill emphasis in this journal: the Appointment with God (AWG) habit, which is the foundational skill emphasis in every unit of the Series.

His Ways

In His Ways (Journal 4 and inaugural journal of the Challenge Series) we explore ten specific ways of God. A way can refer to a path, a prescribed route, a course of conduct, or a manner of thinking. Just as each of us has particular ways we live and make decisions, Scripture tells us that God also has His ways. Knowing His ways gives us insight into who He is and what He desires. If we are to know Him, we must know His ways.

Scripture teaches that God’s ways are higher than ours. The apostle Paul captures the sovereignty and magnitude of God’s ways when he writes, “Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable His judgments, and His paths beyond tracing out!” (Romans 11:33).

While many of God’s ways remain beyond comprehension, Scripture also reveals much that we can know. These ways are taught and demonstrated repeatedly, providing guidance for daily living and a deeper understanding of the One who is the Way.

The spiritual skill strengthened in this journal is an Appointment with God (AWG).
